As of 26th February this year, 60 people have embraced Islam nationwide. The amount increased when a Chinese woman chose Islam as her new faith. The conversion ceremony was held at Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque in Kampung Jerudong, 27th February afternoon.

Dayang Hee Soo Ling, aged 36, is now known as Aunia Hee Soo Ling.  The ceremony was carried out in the presence of officers and staff of the Da'wah Development Division, Islamic Da'wah Centre. Present was Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs.
